IIT students, who went missing in Himachal Pradesh, rescued ; 500 people still stranded

Shimla, Sept 26 (IBNS) : About 50 IIT-students, stranded in Himachal Pradesh  have been rescued by Indian Air Force helicopters even as more than  500 people remain stuck in other areas in Lahaul and Spiti district, media reports said. The death roll in Himachal Pradesh, hit by heavy rains  and snowfall in Lahaul and Spiti - has risen to 10 with four more deaths being reported on Tuesday, NDTV said.
