Srinagar/UNI: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti and her daughter Iltija Mufti were on Friday placed under house arrest at their Gupkar residence in the summer capital, Srinagar.

Srinagar, Aug 16 (IBNS): In a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Iltija said all Kashmiris are caged like animals and denied basic human rights due to the clampdown in the valley.
