Madras High Court stays Greenpeace cancellation

Chennai, Nov 20 (IBNS): The Madras High Court has stayed a government order cancelling Greenpeace India's registration, observing that the Tamil Nadu Registrar of Societies (RoS) had not followed principles of natural justice.

New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS): The Greenpeace legal team has learnt that the Ministry of Home Affairs has notified the Delhi High Court that Greenpeace's FCRA registration has been cancelled.
