Chapters on periodic table, democracy removed from class 10 NCERT books

New Delhi: Class 10 students will no longer learn about the periodic table, democracy, and sources of energy -as these have been removed from their government-issue textbooks, media report said.

Guwahati, Apr 19 (IBNS): Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday said that Assamese will be made a mandatory subject in all educational institutions in the state till class 10.
