New Delhi/IBNS: Responding to the call of  PM Narendra Modi during his Friday morning video address to the nation, people across India on Sunday lighted candles and diyas and switched off the lights for nine minutes at 9 pm to show their unity in the fight against COVID-19.

New Delhi/IBNS: The country's oldest political outfit, Congress, has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of promoting "superstition" by appealing to people to light candles in the midst of the COVID-19 spread in India, triggering a fresh war of words between the ruling dispensation and the main opposition party.
