SC directs Bengal administration to resume screening of Anik Dutta's political satire Bhobishyoter Bhoot

Kolkata, Mar 15 (IBNS):  The Supreme Court has directed the West Bengal administration to ensure resumption of the screening of filmmaker Anik Dutta's political satire Bhobishyoter Bhoot (Ghosts of the Future) after it was withdrawn from the state's big screens suddenly by the Mamata Banerjee administration without citing any reason, the filmmaker confirmed on Friday. The film was released after a due certification and was running full show on the first day.

Kolkata, Feb 16 (IBNS): Drawing sharp criticism from a section of film fraternity, screening of director Anik Dutta's latest Bengali film Bhobishyoter Bhoot (Ghosts of the Future), reportedly a political satire from a filmmaker who was critical of the ruling government in West Bengal, was stopped across the state on Saturday.
