New Delhi/IBNS: The Supreme Court on Friday scolded the Central Bureau of Investigation over its plea seeking hearing of the 2021 West Bengal post-poll violence cases outside the state over "hostile atmosphere" prevailing in the local courts, media reports said.

Kolkata, May 7 (UNI) An elector, identified as Md Akbar, was shot at Sreerampur, some BJP supporters sustained bomb injuries in Bongaon and a minor boy was injured when bomb exploded near his home at Barasat, as reports of post, poll-violence came from different parts where the 5th phase polling ended in West Bengal's three districts on Monday.
