Howrah/UNI: Eight policemen were injured, two of them seriously, when they were attacked by some people after they were stopped from bursting crackers on their house top in Bally area in West Bengal on Thursday.

Kolkata, June 26 (IBNS): In another confrontation with the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Youth Wing has decided to chant Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays to counter offering of Namaz (Muslim prayers) on streets every Friday, media reports said.
