Bagree Market fire: FIR lodged against CEO, directors of Bagree Estate, firefighting still on even after 65 hours

Kolkata, Sept 18 (IBNS): When efforts to douse smouldering pocket fires in central Kolkata's Bagree Market are in full swing even 65 hours after the outbreak, the city police on Tuesday lodged an FIR against the directors and CEO of Bagree Estate Private Limited, a holding company that owns the commercial building on fire, officials said.

Kolkata, Sep 16 (IBNS): As many as 30 fire tenders and over 100 firemen are currently engaged in a firefighting operation in Kolkata's Bagree Market as a massive blaze continued to rage the commercial hub in central part of the city even after 19 hours.

Kolkata, Sept 16 (IBNS): Over 13 hours after a massive fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial complex in central Kolkata's Bagree Market area, as many as 30 fire tenders are currently engaged to bring the blaze under control, according to reports.
