Guwahati : In this year also the annual Ambubachi Mela will not be celebrated at Kamakhya temple in Guwahati in a festival manner due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state.

Guwahati, June 26 (IBNS): Lakhs of pilgrims from different parts of India and foreign countries on Wednesday offered their prayers to Maa Kamakhya after the doors of the Kamakhya temple atop the Nilachal Hill in Guwahati reopened after remaining closed for four days during the Ambubachi Mela.
