Uttarakhand forest fire: Centre sends team of experts

New Delhi, May 1 (IBNS) The Centre on Sunday said it is sending a four-member team of experts to Uttarakhand to monitor the forest fire incidents in the state.

New Delhi, May 1 (IBNS): The Government has taken the forest fire in Uttarakhand seriously. Making a statement here on Sunday, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar, said that Rs. 5 crore has been allotted for firefighting efforts and 6000 labourers have been deployed for firefighting efforts.
