Mumbai, Apr 26 (IBNS): On Wednesday, it was time to put in a stellar performance by the Sensex, closing above the 30000 mark for the first time ever, thus matching the Nifty's record on Tuesday of crossing the 9300 mark for the first time.

Mumbai, Nov 5 (IBNS): The BSE Sensex rose above 28,000 for the first time ever while the 50-share Nifty also hit a record high in morning trade on Wednesday, reports said.
