Guwahati, Mar 22 (IBNS) : After 16 days of the Silapathar incident, Assam police finally caught Subodh Biswas, the prime accused behind the All Assam Students Union (AASU) office attack, from a village in West Bengal, on Wednesday wee hours.

Guwahati, Mar 9 (IBNS): Assam government has decided to ban Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samanvay Samiti (NIBBUSS) in the state following the Silapathar incident in northern Assam's Dhemaji district where miscreants vandalised an office of All Assam Students Union (AASU).
