Kerala HC bans high decibel fireworks at night

Kochi, Apr 12 (IBNS): Two days after 110 people were killed in a fire tragedy in a temple at Kerala's Kollam district, the state's High Court on Tuesday ordered a prohibition on exploding high decibel firecrackers during nighttime.

Thiruvavanthapuram/Kolkata, Apr 10 (IBNS) At least 106 people were killed and scores others were injured as a fire broke out at Puttingal temple in Kerala's Kollam district on Sunday, making Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the site.
