Imphal, Aug 9 (IBNS): Ending her 16-year-long fast demanding withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act from Manipur, a teary eyed Irom Chanu Sharmila, who is regarded as the state's iron lady, said she is like any other human being and wants to be the chief minister of the state to fight her cause politically.

Imphal, Aug 9 (IBNS) : Manipur's iron lady Irom Chanu Sharmila ended her 16-year fast on Tuesday to join the political mainstream of India to fight for the cause of the Northeast state politically and rid it of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act now enforced to counter a prolonged insurgency movement.
