India's May wholesale inflation spikes to 15.88pc

New Delhi: The annual rate of inflation is 15.88 percent (Provisional) for the month of May, 2022 (over May, 2021) as compared to 13.11 percent in May, 2021, official data released on Tuesday revealed.

Wholesale price index rises to 2.03 pc in January

New Delhi, Dec 14 (IBNS): According to government data released on Thursday, inflation based on November Wholesale Price Index, went up 3.93 per cent (provisional) compared to a a year ago. It was 3.59 per cent (provisional) in October 2017 and 1.82 per cent in November 2016.
