Inflation eases but commodity prices still a worry

New Delhi, Sept 15 (IBNS): Giving some relief to the countrymen, the wholesale inflation eased marginally to 3.74% for the month of August as compared to 5.19% in July, but the overall high wholesale price index still remain a worry for the Government.

New York, Jun 6 (IBNS): The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported on Thursday that global food prices were down for the second straight month in May and that the outlook for worldwide cereal supply has improved considerably since last month.

New York, Apr 4 (IBNS): The cost of food worldwide has surged in March to its highest peak in 10 months, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported on Thursday.
