Budget: Next phase of strive to be launched at a cost of Rs. 2200 crore

New Delhi, Feb 1 (IBNS): Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley while presenting the General Budget 2017-18 in Parliament on Wednesday said that the Government proposes to launch the next phase of Skill Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) in the next financial year 2017-18.at a cost of Rs.2200 crore.

Singapore, Mar 1 (IBNS) Moody's Investors Service says that India's fiscal 2017 budget - which was released on Feb 29- is moderately credit positive for most sectors, but efforts at deficit reduction will remain challenging, while the effects for public-sector banks are negative.
