Youngest Kangri peak climber eyes to scale Mt.Elbus at 13

New Delhi, Jul 13 (IBNS) A 13-year-old mountaineer, who created record by scaling the Stok Kangri Peak in Leh last year now targets to become the youngest seven summit climber in the world.

Jaahnvi now eyes climbing the Mt Elbus in Russia after which she will become the youngest person to climb the seven summits across India and world.

 "I went to Stok Kangri and that is 6100 meters. That was my first world record. Now I will be going to Russia for my third world record and the second of seven summits. I'll be summiting Mt Elbrus," media reports quoted Jahnvi as saying.

Jahnvi scaled the most glamorous summit in India the Stok Kangri on August 14 in 2014 at the age of 12 years and nine monts.
