Wrestlers Deepak Punia, Ravi Dahiya reach Tokyo Olympics semis

Tokyo/IBNS: Indian wrestlers Deepak Punia and Ravi Dahiya Wednesday reached the semifinals of men’s 80 kg and 57 kg free style wrestling  respectively in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Punia reached the semis by defeating  Zushen Lin of China 6-3.

In the pre-quarter final, Punia had defeated Ekerekeme Agiomor from Nigeria.

Dahiya reached the semis defeating Georgi Valentinov of Bulgaria 14-4.

Earlier in the day, Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain settled for a bronze medal in the weight category at Tokyo Olympics 2020 here Wednesday.
