WC: MS Dhoni guides India to victory against WI, reach Q/F
Perth, Mar 6 (IBNS): MS Dhoni and R Ashwin joined in a 51-run seventh wicket partnership as India beat West Indies by four wickets in a World Cup clash at the Western Australia Cricket Association Ground here on Friday.
Chasing 183 runs for victory, Dhoni smashed unbeaten 45 and guided his team to 185 runs for the loss of six wickets in 39.1 overs.
With four wins off four clashes, India easily moved to the quater-finals of the tournament.
Earlier, Indian bowlers, specially Mohammed Shami (3-35) , bowled brilliantly to bowl out West Indies for 182 runs in 44.2 overs.
