New Delhi, Oct 24 (IBNS): Indian skipper Virat Kohli continued his strong performance on the cricket field and shattered another record during the second ODI match against West Indies on Wednesday.

Kohli smashed Sachin Tendulkar's record and became the fastest man to score 10,000 runs in ODIs.

The Indian skipper achieved the feat in his 205th innings.

Tendulkar had created the record in his 259th innings in 2001.

Kohli reached the mark with a single off spinner Ashley Nurse in the match.
