Udayjit wins a thriller at Royal Juniors Open

Kolkata, May 8 (IBNS): Udayjit Bhalotia posted a comfortable one stroke victory to capture the Royal Juniors open Title, the third leg of the Tata Steel IGU Feeder & Sub Junior Tour that culminated at the Royal Golf Club here on Thursday.

The Kolkata lad scripted a card of 5-over 77 in the second and final round to finish with a tournament tally of 12-over 156 to triumph in the top category (A&B).

Irfan Ali Mollah  & Hassan Rahman Khandokar tied finished second with a two-round total of 157 after shooting a 7 & 5-over card in the final round.

Nishkarsh Sachdeva was fourth at 160 while devansh chadha was fifth at 163.

Hassan Rahman Khandokar 157 capture the title of Category B.Devansh Chadha & Bibek sardar were second & third with the total of 163 & 164.

Sandeep Kumar Yadav emerged as the winner in Category C with a total of 160 while Rajib Ali was second at 172. Abhikanks Basu ended up third at 174.

Arav Shanghavi captured the Category D honours on 19th hole with a tally of 192 while Joysurjo Deb was the runner-up at 192 lost on 19th hole.

Pranshu Poddar ended up third at 197.

Marshneil Prasad won in the Girls B Category with Yashodhara Bhalotia taking the Girls C Category honours. GarvLakhmani won in Category E which was played over 18 holes.
