SRK's Knights to take on Preity's Kings in the IPL finale

Bangalore, June 1 (IBNS): Ending a month long cricketing extravaganza, 2012 champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Kings XI Punjab in the finale of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) seventh season tournament here on Sunday.
KKR earlier defeated Kings XI Punjab by 28 runs to cruise to the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

In the first qualifier of the tournament, KKR scored 163 for eight then restricted Kings to 135 for eight.

However, Virender Sehwag showed his elegance and strong hitting abilities  with 58-ball 122 runs to help his Kings XI Punjab beat MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to reach the final of the IPL.

Posting a massive 226 for six on the scorecard, Kings XI Punjab restricted their opponents to 202 for seven after 20 overs.

It was Sehwag's dominance and all-round performance by Kings men which made all the difference on Friday night as they prevented CSK from booking the ticket for the final against KKR.

While Kings have been the most consistent team of the season, the ever-resilient Knights would not leave any stone unturned to win the title second time.

All eyes will now be on Sunday evening where the stage have been set for not only the teams to clash but also for an intense fight between two Bollywood colleagues-Shah Rukh Khan (KKR) and Preity Zinta (Kings XI) as they will face each other being the team owners .
