Srinivasan name cleared in IPL scam by Mudgal panel
While the finding will help Srinivasan return to BCCI, the court said he as well as IPL governing council, including CEO Sundar Raman, failed to take action on betting, said media reports.
According to reports, Srini's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royal's owner Raj Kundra has been indicted by Mudgal panel.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had revealed the names of BCCI president-in-exile N. Srinivasan and his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan as those being probed when Justice Mudgal submitted his first report in February.
In the previous hearing that took place on Nov 10, the Supreme Court had asked for more time to read the report submitted by the Justice Mukul Mudgal-led committee which is probing the IPL spot-fixing case.
The panel, headed by former judge also included ex-India captain Sourav Ganguly.
