Shoaib Akhtar's 'Don' tweet leaves him facing social media trolls

| @indiablooms | Oct 08, 2018, at 05:54 pm

Islamabad, Oct 8 (IBNS): Pakistan's former pacer Shoaib Akhtar recently faced social media trolls when he called himself the 'Don of Cricket'.

" Don of cricket as they called me but never enjoyed hurting people but I must say when I was out there I just ran in for the love of my country & for the people around the world," Akhtar tweeted.

However, the tweet was not accepted much appreciatively by several netizens as they preferred trolling him over the post.

Several netizens posted a video where Sachin Tendulkar, India's former batsman, could be seen hitting him outside the park.

The video is related to the India-Pakistan clash of 2003 World Cup where Sachin had played a crucial knock of 75-ball 98 which helped the 'Men in Blue' grab the match by six wickets.

One netizen, who calls himself Gautam, posted: " How can you forget this gem from @sachin_rt !! Smashing you my friend. You were also winning asia cup this time.. ."

Internet user Ankit said: "Baap... Baap Hota Hai Beta... Beta Hota hai @sachin_rt @virendersehwag @shoaib100mph."

Another netizen posted: " This is not T20 match. Credit goes to @sachin_rt."
