Sania touches career -best fifth rank

New Delhi, Jan 18 (IBNS): Indian tennis star Sania Mirza touched her career-best doubles rank of five on Sunday, officials said.

She reached the rank following her title win at the WTA Apia International with here partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands in Sydney recently.

Mirza tweeted: "Number 5 in the world career best."

She had touched the number five ranking in July last year.
