Sania, Martina reach Rogers Cup semis

Toronto, Aug 15 (IBNS): Idnian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her doubles partner Martina Hingis on Saturday reached the semi-final of the Rogers Cup by beating Hao-Ching and Yung-Jan.

Sania and Martina defeated their opponents  6-4, 6-2.

The match lasted for one hour and 10 minutes.

Sania tweeted: "Khel Ratna ,in the semi finals at the Rogers cup and a very Happy Independence Day India It's a good day."
