Saina defeated in World Championship final

Jakarta, Aug 15 (IBNS) Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal settled for silver after losing the final of the World Championship against Spain's Carolina Marin here on Sunday.

Marin defeated her Indian opponent  16-21, 19-21 to clinch the title.

Saina had created history by becoming the first Indian player to reach the final of the tournament.
