Rio: Belgium beat India in Q/Fs

Rio, Aug 15 (IBNS): Indian hockey team suffered a jolt as they were defeated by Belgium in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Rio Olympics here on Sunday.

India were defeated by their opponent 3-1.

Akashdeep Singh scored for India to give some hope but Belgium soon smashed it.

Sebastien Dockier scored twice to put Belgium 2-1 in the game and make things difficult for India.

Later, Tom Boon scored another goal to seal the victory.
