Rafael Nadal wins 11th French Open title

Paris, June 10 (IBNS): Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal defeated  Dominic Thiem in the final fo the French Open to clinch the title.

This is Nadal's 11th French Open title.

Nadal defeated his opponent by 6-4 6-3 6-2.

This was Thiem's first grand slam final.


This was Nadal's 17th Grand Slam title overall.

Nadal is the second player in the history of the game to win the same title for 11 times.

It was earlier  Margaret Court who had clinched  11 Australian Open titles between 1960 and 1973.
