NZ receive first blow, McCullum departs
Melbourne, Mar 29 (IBNS): New Zealand have lost their first wicket in the final of the World Cup against former champions Australia here on Sunday.
Mitchell Starc bowled New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum (0) in the fifth ball of the first over of the match.
At the end of the first over, New Zealand have scored one run for the loss of a wicket.
Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first.
Martin Guptill (1) and Kane Williamson are currently at the crease.
