Notts Outlaws bowler Luke Fletcher admitted to hospital after head blow during T20 match
London, July 9 (IBNS): Notts Outlaws bowler Luke Fletcher was admitted to hospital after he was hit on the head by a ball during a match against Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston.
The cricketer is expected to be released on Sunday.
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club physio James Pipe was quoted as saying by the club website: “It looks like he is going to be fine, but we will obviously continue to monitor him very closely, as we did overnight."
The incident occurred during a T20 Blast game.
