Rajkot, Nov 4 (IBNS): New Zealand defeated India by 40 runs in the second T20I match on the ongoing bilateral series here on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 197, set by the Kiwis, India have scored 156/7 in 20 overs.

The series is leveled now 1-1.
