MS Dhoni turns 34

Ranchi, July 7 (IBNS) Indian ODI and T20 skipper MS Dhoni turned 34 on Tuesday as cricketers wished the World Cup winning captain on his special day of the year.

Dhoni's former colleague and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar tweeted: "A big hug and best wishes on your birthday @msdhoni. Tum jiyo hazaroon saal, saal ke din ho hazaar."

Indian cricketer Vinay Kumar said: "Wishing you a very happy birthday... Have a great year @msdhoni."
BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur wished him and tweeted:  " @msdhoni Happy Birthday! :-) Have a lovely day & wonderful life!"

Cricketer Robin Uthappa said: "Happy Birthday Mahi , have a great year ahead .... Stay blessed . @msdhoni."

Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik posted: "A very happy birthday and many happy returns of the day @msdhoni - enjoy."

Former Indian skipper Anil Kumble said: "@msdhoni happy birthday MS! Have a great year ahead. God bless!"

Cricketer Suresh Raina wished the captain and posted: "Happy birthday @msdhoni wishing you years ahead filled with love, laughter and success! Have a fantastic one #happybirthdayDhoni."

Indian skipper for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour Ajinkya Rahane wished Dhoni and said, "Happy birthday Mahi Bhai @msdhoni Have a great year Ahead."

Dhoni was born in Ranchi in 1981.

Under his captaincy India have clinched several trophies including the T20 World Cup in 2007 and World Cup in 2011.

He quit playing Test last year.
