KL Rahul's heroic 84 helps Kings XI Punjab beat Rajasthan Royals by six wickets

Indore, May 7 (IBNS): A devastating 54-ball 84 runs innings by KL Rahul helped Kings XI Punjab beat Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in an IPL match here on Sunday.

After Rajasthan posted  152 runs for the loss of nine wickets, Kings touched 155 runs by losing only four wickets.

Kings opener Chris Gayle (8) departed early, leaving the stage for KL Rahul to deliver in the crucial match of the tournament.

Rahul hammered seven boundaries and three sixes in his devastating knock.

Karun Nair contributed 31 runs with his willow.

All Rajasthan bowlers gave away runs with none finding the way to disturb the opposition batting.

Earlier, riding on Jason Butler's 51 runs knock, Kings posted 152 runs on the scorecard.

Butler hit seven boundaries in his knock.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked up three wickets for Kings.
