IPL: Daredevils ease past Mumbai Indians

New Delhi, Apr 23 (IBNS) Imran Tahir and JP Duminy helped Delhi Daredevils beat Mumbai Indians by 37 runs here at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in an Indian Premier League match on Thursday.

The right arm spinner picked up three wickets by conceding just 22 while his national team compatriot and the Delhi Daredevils captain played a sensational knock of 78 runs from 50 balls.

Duminy smashed 6 sixes and 3 fours with his willow.

Shreyas Iyer was the other star of the match as he scored 83 runs off 56 balls which included 5 sixes and 7 fours.

Delhi Daredevils set up a target of 191 runs for the Mumbai Indians to chase.

Right from the beginning of the run-chase, away team never looked like a team that could chase down such a mammoth total.

Angleo Matthews also shined with the ball in hand for the Daredevils as he picked up two wickets for by giving away 15 runs.
