India's Mary Kom clinches gold medal in 23rd President's Cup

New Delhi, July 28 (IBNS): India's iconic boxer Mary Kom on Sunday clinched the gold medal in the 23rd President's Cup.

Mary is a six time World Champion.

Mary clinched the latest gold medal in the 51kg bout final in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.

She defeated Australian April Franks 5-0.

Mary said a victory means she is willing to go longer.

After the victory, Mary tweeted: "Gold medal for me and for my country at #PresidentCup Indonesia. Winning means you’re willing to go longer,work harder & give more effort than anyone else. I sincerely thanks to all my Coaches and support staffs of @BFI_official@KirenRijiju@Media_SAI."
