India reach Asian Champions Trophy final

Kuantan, Malaysia, Oct 29 (IBNS): Indian defeated South Korea in a crucial semi-final clash, which went down to the wire, of the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament to reached the final here on Saturday.

 The match was settled 5-4 (2-2) via penalty shoot-out.

Both the sides were locked at 2-2 during the regulation time.

Talwinder Singh, Ramandeep Singh scored for India.

For Korean side,  Seo Inwoo and Yang Jihun scored the two goals.


India will meet Pakistan in the final.
