India names squad for World T20, Bumrah returns
Mumbai: The All-India Senior Selection Committee met on Monday to pick India’s squads for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia and for the T20I series against Australia and South Africa at home.
Indian spinner R Ashwin was named in the T20 World Cup squad.
Jasprit Bumrah, who missed the Asia Cup, returned to the squad.
Apart from Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik also found a place in the team.
India failed to reach the final of the Asia Cup this year.
Sri Lanka won the title by beating Pakistan in the final.
