India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal at start of day 2 in first Test against England

Hyderabad/IBNS: India lost their opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was in a destructive form a day ago, at the start of the play on day 2 of the inaugural Test against England in Hyderabad on Friday.

Jaiswal was dismissed for 80 off 74 balls. He hit 10 fours and three sixes in his innings.

Shubman Gill, who held one end firmly, followed Jaiswal to the dressing room for 23 off 66 balls.

England were bowled out for 246 with clinical bowling by India's spinners.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja clinched three wickets each.

The rest of the wickets were scalped by Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel.
