Islamabad, Mar 25 (IBNS) Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan feels that India has the best chance to beat Australia in the semi-final of the World Cup on Thursday as the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) 'helps spinners'.

"Tomorrow's semis: The SCG is the pitch where India has its best chance to beat Australia as it helps spinners," Khan tweeted.

"India would hope to bat first, post a 250+ total & then apply pressure esp through their spinners. Should be a great semi final tomorrow," he said.

Khan said New Zealand have the best chance to win the World Cup final.

New Zealand defeated South Africa in the first semi-final of the tournament to reach the final on Tuesday.

"This is the first WC where the 4 best teams have reached semis.NZs run to win v SA was one of the best run chases under pressure," Khan tweeted.

"NZ won the battle of nerves against SA. They are my favourites to win the final as they ooze self belief," he said.

India will take on Australia in the second semi-final of the World Cup on Thursday.
