India beat England by 246 runs in second test, take 1-0 lead in series

Vishakhapatnam, Nov 21 (IBNS) : Ravichandran Ashwin tricked his way to bag a match haul of eight wickets as as India beat England by 246 runs on in the second Test at Visakhapatnam on Monday, reports said.

Chasing an unlikely 405 for victory on the fifth day, England were bowled out 20 minutes after lunch for 158.

While India had scored 455 and 204 respectively in their first and second innings, the visitors, with a first innings score of 255, was on a chase for an unlikely 405 for victory. But on the fifth day, they were bowled out 20 inutes after lunch for 158.

India now lead the five-match series 1-0 after the first Test in Rajkot ended in a draw.
