Gogoi announces Rs 10 lakh for players from Assam for getting gold medal in 12th SAG

Guwahati, Feb 9 (IBNS) : Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday has congratulated Manash Jyoti Changmai, for winning Compound Team archery Gold Medal winner in the 12th South Asian Games being held in Guwahati and Shillong respectively.

In a statement Gogoi said, “Your achievement has made us really glad. Best of luck for all your future endeavours.”

Gogoi also congratulated Jayanta Talukdar, Recurve Archery Team Gold Medal winner for his exhilarating performance too.

Gogoi also announced Rs. 10 lakh as a cash reward for any player from Assam who gets gold medal in the 12th South Asian Games.
