Former cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambir turns 38

New Delhi: Ex-cricketer Gautam Gambhir, who is considered as one of the best openers to play the game for India, turned 38 on Monday.

Hashtag #HappyBirthdayGautam Gambhir is already trending on Twitter.

Gambhir played a crucial role in India's World T20 victory in 2007 and the 2011 World Cup victories.

In his playing career, Gautam played 58 Test matches and scored 4154 runs.

In ODIs, he scored 5238 runs after making an appearance for India in 147 matches.

Gautam played 37 T20 matches and scored 932 runs.

Gautam will also be remembered by hhis fans in Kolkata as he had led IPL side Kolkata Knight Riders to two IPL title victories.

In 2019, Gautam started a new career when he won the Lok Sabha polls and made his Parliament debut.
