Nizhny Novgorod, Jun 18 (IBNS): Sweden defeated South Korea in an encounter in the FIFA World Cup 2018 at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium here on Monday.

Adreas Granqvist scored the lone goal for Sweden in a penalty at the 65th minute of the match.

South Korea could not compensate the goal in the rest of the match.
