Mohali, Nov 29 (IBNS): Fuelled by young Haseeb Hameed's unbeaten knock of 59 runs, England managed to set India a 103-run target to win the third Test match.

England were bowled out for 236 runs.

Hameed, the English opener, was hit in his small finger in the first innings, batted lower down the order as a result.

Playing with an injury, the 19-year-old made a well compiled fifty, hitting six fours and a six.

England were left high and dry by a superb over of pace bowling by Mohammad Shami.

The Indian quick got one to bounce to knock off the cover off Chris Woakes' helmet and followed it with another bouncer to claim his wicket.

A couple of deliveries later, Adil Rashid too departed in a similar manner.

At 195 for the loss of nine wickets, Hameed added 41 runs with James Anderson to give his team a lead in excess of 100.

For India, Ashwin picked up three wickets, followed by Jadeja, Jayant and Shami, who finished with a couple of wickets each
