Antigua, Aug 6 (IBNS): Two-time World T20 champion Daren Sammy has been removed as the skipper of the T20 side.

It has been four months since he guided his side to World T20 victory in India.

In his Facebook page, Sammy said in a video post: "I wish the new captain all the best."

Sammy was removed from the post just days before West Indies will face India in a two-match T20 series in Florida.

West Indies had won the World T20 title in 2012. Sammy was the captain of the side.
