'Calm and collected win', Shah Rukh Khan lauds Knights after win against Chennai Super Kings

Mumbai, May 3 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan, seems to be elated after his team registered their fifth win in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday.

Lauding the Knights, Khan, who was not present at the Eden Gardens to watch the match, tweeted, "Calm & collected win like Captain @Dineshkarthik himself & my babies gaining in every match @realshubmangill @shivammavi23 &Narine is Narine"

Outshining MS Dhoni’s knock of 43 runs off 25 balls, Indian Under-19 World Cup star Shubman Gill along with his skipper Dinesh Karthik scripted a six-wicket victory for Kolkata Knight Riders against Chennai Super Kings.

The chase of 178 looked a mere job for the Knights as the hosts scored 180/4 in just 17.2 overs.

Gill’s batting mastery has once again been proved with a handy knock of 57 (36) out of which 36 came from boundaries and sixes.

The youngster has been aptly supported by experienced Karthik, who continued his great form to script an 18-ball 45 runs innings.
