Bollywood wishes PV Sindhu for winning BWF World Tour Finals tournament

Mumbai, Dec 16 (IBNS): Bollywood celebrities wished Indian badminton star PV Sindhu for winning the BWF World Tour Finals tournament. 

Actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: " T 3028 - YEEEAAAH !!! PV SINDHU World Champion at Badminton Championship in China .. so so proud of you .. well done PV .. you have fought your way back to the top .. never gave up .. never ever DO .. !!MADE INDIA IMMENSELY PROUD ..."

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur congratulated the young badminton player and posted: "That amazing roar of victory from #PVSindhu. Congratulations @pvsindhu."

Director Onir said: "Amazing... You make us all proud. Respect @Pvsindhu1 Congratulations and many more years of amazing badminton to you. #PVSindhu PV Sindhu Scripts History, Becomes 1st Indian To Win BWF World Tour Finals."

Indian badminton star PV Sidhu added one more record to her name when she won the BWF World Tour Finals tournament by beating Nozomi Okuhara on Sunday.

Sindhu became the first Indian to win the title.

She claimed a 21-19, 21-17 win in the final.

This is the Indian shuttler's first title of the year.

The win is especially significant as Sindhu was unable to win a single tournament this year.

Sidhu has won several important titles in her career so far.

Her victories include winning the silver medal in the last Olympic games.
